Behavior Vets New York

Briana B

Behavior Coordinator
It can be scary when your pet has a behavior issue, and with so much conflicting advice online it’s hard to know what to do. No matter your pet’s issue, I’m here to guide you towards the best solution for you. I love hearing the relief in a client’s voice once we speak and they know they’re in good hands.

A Denver, Colorado native, Briana earned an Associates Degree in Animal Behavior Management, an Associates Degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management, and an Associates Degree in Wildlife Education from Moorpark College.

After passing her VTNE, Briana worked as an internal medicine and critical care Certified Veterinary Technician at the Veterinary Referral Center of Colorado. In addition to her work as a CVT, she also gained behavioral experience during her internships at the LA Zoo, Santa Barbara Zoo, Wildlife Waystation, Conservators Center, Inc., Exotic Feline Rescue Center, and Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens Cat Ambassador Program. Having done it all, Briana’s professional experience includes her tenure as a bird and mammal trainer at Downtown Aquarium Denver.

At home, Briana lives with one fearful dog, Deja, and an adorable cat, Scampi. Having helped her pup overcome her phobias, she understands how frustrating it can be when your furry family members are having a hard time. In her spare time, she enjoys attending Zumba classes, spending time with friends and family, and hiking with Deja.
